Founder

Puja Parekh is an independent land specialist with over 15+ years of international experience working in the social impact, philanthropic, government, and innovation sectors focused on creating a positive impact on people and communities.

Having started out her career working for the Clinton Foundation and Bloomberg Philanthropies in New York – she worked on Government Innovation Programmes focused on improving citizen lives through better government. Whilst at Bloomberg Philanthropies, she moved to India and worked with the Indian Prime Minister’s Office & Ministry of Urban Development on their Smart Cities Initiative – supporting the country’s largest citizen engagement effort to include citizen needs in their smart cities proposal to achieve sustainable development and local growth.

She’s worked as the Head of Customer Experience at the start-up WayHome – a company that aimed to get more first time buyers onto the property ladder through shared ownership. She’s also worked with UK Government entities including the Department for Leveling up, Housing, and Communities, NHS Trusts, and Education and Skills Funding Agency to support the design and delivery of public services to meet the needs of UK citizens.

Most recently, she led the Global Innovation Practice at Just Eat Takeaway as their Principal Service Designer – supporting the company’s development of new ideas and considers the ethical impact of ideas on people and planet.

She most recently has received training on Land & Planning Policies in the UK – and is pursuing her dream to support the government meet housing needs.

She lives in the UK with her Maltese-Shih Tzu and Yorkshireman husband.
